Important Travel information!

Remember, if you leave the US you must have your I-20 signed so you can come back! Don't delay until the last minute. Come to the IP office while things are quiet and the wait time is short!

Job Announcement--Student Reception (frontdesk) assistant at IP!
Applications are available now in the IP office and due Monday, December 1st at 5:00 p.m.
Requirements for the position are:
1. Must be currently enrolled at GRCC in a full-time ACADEMIC educational program
2. Show educational achievement by meeting the overall minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
3. Be in good standing according to immigration student visa regulations
4. Must have excellent written and spoken English skills
5. Enjoy helping other students!

Safety Tips


for carrying your money or anything valuable• Carry your bag with the strap over your head.
• Keep the opening flap facing towards you.
• Carry only what you need. Don’t carry anything valuable like money, mobile phone, passport, laptop or
jewelry where people can see them.
• Keep your purse, wallet and keys in a different place of your bag.
• If someone does try to take your bag, don’t stop them.
• Write down your credit card and passport numbers and keep them safe in a different place to where you keep
your cards. If they are stolen, you can then report the numbers to the police and cancel your credit cards.

Volunteer Opportunity:PHONE-A-THON

What: Be the callers.
What to do: Contact people who have supported the Foundation in the past and remind them to continue their support this year.
When:Training session on December 2, followed by 1-2 calling sessions on December 3 and 4(6:15 – 8:30 P.M.).
Why:Food, training and support are provided. Have fun, be part of a high-energy team,learn valuable skills and help your fellow Green River students!
Where: Administration building on GRCC’s main campus.

New Grill at CCA!

Thanks to IP, CCA now has a grill that students can reserve and use for free. Students should come to the CCA office to reserve the grill before using it.
