Important Dates

July 21- Last day to submit pass/non-credit petition to Enrollment Services
July 21- Last day to withdraw from summer quarter classes
August 11- Last day of instruction

For those on Vacation
Vacation quarters are not registered automatically; you must speak with an advisor. If you fail to register for a vacation quarter you might have visa trouble. If you are taking less than 12 credits, or most or all online classes, you need to see an advisor about taking a vacation quarter. If you want or need to be on a vacation quarter this summer, please speak with one of your advisors immediately!

I-20 Signatures

Get your I-20 signed for travel as early as one month before you leave. Coming in less than 2 weeks before you leave the USA is not advised. From time to time students need to change their major or some other aspect of their I-20. You must have a current address updated with GRCC in order to get your I-20 signed. Coming in at the last minute may not allow enough time for these updates. If you are planning to travel outside the USA or go back home, please keep this in mind.

Schedule your NSA

If this is your first academic quarter, you must schedule a New Student Appointment with your assigned advisor at the IP office before the end of summer quarter. Your advisor will help you plan your education at GRCC and answer any questions you have. All new students are required to meet with their advisor during their first quarter to make an academic plan. Make your appointment right away!

Computer Space on Fridays
The Welcome Center has made arrangements to have the computer lab available to students Fridays 9am-12pm thru September 2nd. Be aware that this computer space is very limited and there is no printing option available.

Public Speaking Center

At the Public Speaking Center, our Communication Studies Instructors will work with you one-on-one to help improve your delivery technique and offer suggestions about the organization and development of your ideas. The Speaking Center is located in the Holman Library (HL-116) and services are available to students, faculty, campus staff and alumni. Sign up today and start delivering presentations with confidence and skill! During summer quarter (through August 3rd) the Public Speaking Center will be open from 1-3:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
