Important Dates

May 10th- Registration begins for summer and fall classes
May 21st- Last day to officially withdraw or add classes for spring quarter
May 21st- Last day to submit pass/non-credit petition to Enrollment Services

Check Your Registration Access Time!

Be ready to register as soon as you have access time. You will be able to register for both summer and fall classes in May. Access priority is given to students who have the most credits earned, starting on May 10th. Check your access time with online services or by clicking here.
12 Credit Rule Reminder

The deadline for dropping classes is coming up, but in order to stay in status you must keep a minimum of 12 credits each quarter. Changing to Pass/Non-Credit is another way to protect your GPA, but it may or may not be best for you depending on the circumstances. If you have questions about dropping classes or changing to Pass/Non-Credit please see an advisor immediately.

ANGEL is Here to Help!

Are you going to apply for university this coming fall or winter? Have you done your research? Are you overwhelmed by all the information you need for transferring? ANGEL is here to help!

Your advisors have created a website in ANGEL where you can have direct access to the transfer information of your need. ANGEL is an on line system which all GRCC students have the access to.

To log on, go to http://greenriver.angellearning.com/ Your log on user name is your GRCC e-mail user name and your password is your student ID number. After you have logged on, click on "IP Advising" under "Community Group". ANGEL will save half of your time on your university research!

Registration forms for summer quarter will be distributed the week of May, 10th 2010. Please make sure you we have your update information; phone number, email address, and address.

Leadership and Service Awards for Commencement

Each year at Commencement, Green River Community College (GRCC) recognizes three students for leadership and three students for community service. The awards recognize outstanding leadership and service students contribute to the GRCC community. Students who are interested in applying for this award must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, have held a position of leadership, and/ or have contributed to a GRCC community service project. Student award winners must participate in the Commencement ceremony on June 11, 2010 at the ShoWare Center.
Please feel free to download the application packet or pick-up a packet at the Student Life information desk.
The complete application is due by May 12th at 4pm in LSC 206.

When you sign up you can get messages to both your email and your cell phone in the event of a campus emergency. You will know if the latest campus safety status. It is very convenient as you don’t need to keep calling campus to find out what the situation is in the event of power outages and inclement weather like we had last week. * GRCC Safety Alert- Subscribe to GRCC Safety Alert and keep informed of Campus emergencies, safety issues and inclement weather emergency closures. This is a FREE service available to all GRCC students. Click here to learn more and to subscribe.

* Send a Red Flag- GRCC has an information reporting system. Please click here to report any suspicious behavior or security threats on campus. In a true emergency please call 911 first to contact the police, the fire department or to get emergency medical help.

* Campus Safety Rides are available from dusk (currently around 5:00 pm) until 11:00 pm on Sunday through Thursday, and dusk until 2:00 am on Friday and Saturday within 1.5 miles of campus. Call 253-797-4868 which will put you in direct contact with the driver of the van that night. Be safe, use Safety Rides!
